Itinerary
Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Diu.
Arrive in India and connect through to your onward flight to Diu. On arrival, you'll be taken straight to your hotel. If there's time, you can walk along the beach which tends to be quite busy with locals enjoying picnics and games on the sand.

After a leisurely breakfast, you will discover the delights of old Diu Town, including the Portuguese Fort built in 1535, the baroque St Paul's Church and the market square. Afterwards, you will drive to Gir, which should take around three to four hours.

Enjoy morning and afternoon private game drives, keeping an eye out for the Asiatic lion. Sasan Gir is the last remaining national park that contains Asiatic Lion. The population is well protected and flourishing, so there's a good chance of spotting one.

Continue your journey to Velavadar National Park, stopping en route at Palitana to see the temples there. This journey will take approximately five hours. On arrival, you will check in to Black Buck Lodge, in Velavadar National Park. The park is a varied landscape of grasslands, shrublands, saline plains and mud flats.
